EUROPEAN
ARBITRATION
ISSN 1286-4528
Sample issue.
EA is published in Adobe's Portable
Document Format. This allows for a more controlled layout
of text, and also the accurate rendering of non-English
text characters (accented letters, etc.) than is currently
possible with most web-browsers. PDF Format, like webpages,
does allow for hyperlinks ... and many are provided, to allow
easy access to conference details, to purchase books, etc.
We are currently working on a lite edition of EA. Details will appear here in due course.
A copy of EA52
may be downloaded here. (File size
is approx. 400 KB.)
Depending how your browser is configured, then clicking on the
link immediately above may open the newsletter in Acrobat
Reader, within a browser window, or may start the download
procedure. Right clicking will usually produce a menu that inludes
the option to download. The downloaded file is named "EA52.pdf"
To view the newsletter you will need a PDF viewer.
Adobe's Acrobat
Reader is pre-installed on many, probably most, computers
these days. If not you may obtain a copy, free of charge,
from Adobe.
Versions are available for Windows, Macintosh, Linux, ...
Derek Noonburg's Xpdf is available free for the X Window System
(used on Linux, UNIX, ...)
from Foolabs.
You may also view a screenshot of one page from the sample issue. This, though, lacks the functionality of the real newsletter: you cannot browse within the issue, follow internal links, visit external websites, etc.
As an option to downloading the sample issue above, you may also have a copy sent to your email box.
